Malaysia gagal ke perlawanan peringkat akhir dalam kejohanan Piala AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 dengan agregat 3 berbalas 1 pada Thailand di Stadium Thammasat, Bangkok, Thailand. Perlawanan berkenaan berlangsung pada 10 Januari 2023, jam 8.30 malam, waktu Malaysia.

Namun disamping kekalahan ini, kita perlu juga dilihat semula pada perkara yang berlaku sebelumnya iaitu tatkala Tunku Ismail selaku pemilik JDT tidak memberi kebenaran kepada pemain pasukan bola sepaknya untuk mewakili pasukan kebangsaan Malaysia.


𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝗽𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗗𝗧
- Segelintir orang bising suruh beri peluang pada pemain lain yang berbakat, asyik-asyik JDT je yang ramai


- Kemudian, Tunku Ismail pun tidak beri pelepasan pada pemain JDT bagi memenuhi permintaan segelintir orang itu

𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗽𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗗𝗧 ( kecuali Safawi , status dia sebagai pinjaman ke kelab siam ) :

1) Tunku Ismail ingin menunjukkan Malaysia masih ada bakat bola sepak yang berpotensi untuk diasah secara berterusan

2) Ia adalah proses pembelajaran dan latihan berterusan dengan displin pemain dan pengurusan yang tidak culas

3) Jika Malaysia layak ke peringkat akhir AFF Mitsubishi Cup 2022, nanti ada yang kata " tengok tanpa pemain JDTpun kita boleh berjaya " ( dengan nada takbur/sombong ).

Maka Allah SWT menyelamatkan kelompok ini dari berkata demikian dan menunjukkan bahawa, nak berjaya kena berada dalam satu saf yang sama, bak kata Wonder Pet : "Apa yang penting.....? KERJASAMA !!!
